My name is Gaby and I am a second year student from Venezuela studying at Erasmus University. I grew up with 6 dogs of which two were rescue dogs but they have all passed due to old age and I terribly miss them all. Dogs have been the only friends I have made in my life that have been there through everything. I used to own a Pug, a Doberman, a Labrador mix, a Poodle mix, and2 Pitbulls. I was only a toddler until I got dogs so they became not only my companions but my responsibility to watch after. Since I have grown up with dogs my entire life I think somehow this led me to develop a dog-intuition over the years. I understand the ways in which dogs communicate with only a bark, and even understand their personalities because they actually do have a psychology.

Mijn hond ontbrak na 1 uur sinds ik mijn hond bij Gabby achterliet. Ze ging met hem lopen zonder riem. Het was de eerste dag in Gabby. Het was een ergste nachtmerrie waar we doorheen moesten. Gabby probeerde hem te vinden voordat ik daar aankwam, maar geen succes. Ik begreep bij Rover, voordat je jezelf registreert als een hondenoppas, er is een online test, die sterk benadrukt dat je de hond niet mag loslaten tenzij de eigenaar ermee instemt. Toch gaf ze mij de schuld omdat ik niet duidelijk was dat Teddy niet zonder riem kan lopen (ik vertelde haar dat ze onze hond niet zonder riem kan lopen tijdens onze eerste ontmoeting). Ik ben sprakeloos omdat ze haar verantwoordelijkheid als betaalde hondenoppas durft te verplaatsen naar de hondeneigenaar. Godzijdank, onze hond is weer thuis, iemand vond hem op een zeer drukke weg - heel ver weg van het huis van de hondenoppas - en bracht hem naar het huis. Maar serieus moet ze niet doorgaan als hondenoppas als ze niet de volledige verantwoordelijkheid kan nemen als hondenoppas. We willen niet dat iemand anders deze ervaring meemaakt.
Is heel er goed bevalle. Lekker dicht in de buurt en ze is erg lief voor de hond geweest. Doet ook niet moeilijk over tijden ed.
I left my 13 year old schnauzer with Maria Gabriela and it was1 of the best decisions I could have made. Although my dog is old and grumpy, Gaby was able to connect with her and give my dog her medications. I highly recommend Gaby as she is friendly, responsible and a dog lover!
Maria Gabriela is an exceptionally organized and capable individual. She has a personality and a presence that immediately attracts all dogs and they quickly fall in love with her. Even my dog (my golden retriever who doesn’t love cuddling) could not stop jumping on to the bed to lie with Gaby. Overall I strongly recommend Gaby as she is a reliable and great person and I can also testify to her ability to take care of dogs.

I would really appreciate it if owners told me the age of the dog, if they are docile and obedient or the opposite, and if they are barkers. Neighbors get really upset with dogs that bark too much, for instance if every time somebody goes up the stairs and the dog hears them they bark for a long time.
