Your BFF - Best FurBaby Friend!
Pet care experience
Been on Rover for over a year now & have done over 400 bookings! I am a pet owner first and foremost (I own a lizard named Fig & have a friend that had rat colony for a while, so I’m experienced in care for reptiles & rodents). You can be assured total peace of mind, and have time away from your pet guilt-free, knowing your pet will receive the love, play and attention that it needs. With each visit, I document regular observations in detailed service reports, communicating with owners about any health or behavioral issues that may arise during the day. I’ve been doing this for a while & love the job more & more everyday. I spent a few months working for a professional company in 2022 & made the choice to join Rover & make my own schedule after learning how to manage my time. I work with animals of all species, ages, needs & personalities! (Meet n Greets are now $10, for cost of travel & my time, thank you for your understanding & consideration!)
Reviews
Gabriela was a perfect fit for our needs - we trusted her completely with our 5-yr-old dog Spike, caring for him at our house. Gabriela was very communicative and send lots of updates and pictures. We could tell that Spike was happy and safe. He is a reactive dog and Gabriela took the time to visit twice ahead of our departure to get to know him, us, and our routine. We look forward to working with Gabriela again!
Gabbie continues to be such a great walking buddy to my young beagle! Appreciate her flexibility and detailed updates during their long walks.
Courteous and on time!
Gabriela took our dog Arlo on a great long walk on fairly short notice, and I would absolutely love to have her walk Arlo again. Thank you so much, Gabriela!

I have experience providing care for dogs and cats, including feeding, walking/playing, administering medication as needed, cleaning litter boxes, and providing general pet care instructions. Safety in relation to allergies, triggers, and other animals is paramount; I treat your pet as if they were my own. I LOVE taking pictures & sending detailed updates, let me know if you want more updates or less (mostly for house sittings). I follow all safety procedures while caring for animals (let me know if you have a mini Houdini on your hands so I know to block the door with my foot when I open it or if your animal really doesn’t like something to avoid discomfort). I always carry out owner's instructions regarding the pets' exercise and diet programs. If you leave a towel by the front door on rainy days, I’ll wipe them down after (especially poodles!) I definitely love giving pets affection but also understand not all animals like constant attention & will respect your pets personal space. You can also be assured that your home is in great hands; I try to leave it cleaner than it was left for me.

Information Gabriela B. would like to know about your pet
Any & all things concerning your pets health are paramount. This includes; allergies, past medical issues, chronic illnesses & complications that come with age (specific medicinal instructions are crucial too, some people make google documents or print out instructions). Please let me know if your dog is reactive & the severity, I usually cross the street anyway but with some dogs.. crossing the street isn’t enough. It’s for both our safety, thank you! I also like giving treats, so let me know of any specific diets. Along with diets, knowing specific exercises (i.e. 15 min run at 3pm). I also prefer being told that there’s cameras or someone else inside BEFORE going into a place (if I’m being recorded, I’d like to know & for my own safety I need to know that there’s someone else in the abode), thank you! Being made aware of any other things in your pets schedule that makes them a tad bit happier is just as important. Sometimes fido just needs their daily dose of peanut butter or your feline just needs that churru!
A typical day
I love going on walks, runs & sometimes just sitting outside. I know of a few decent Rock Creek paths, dog parks (I usually don’t do dog parks unless I’m requested to do so!) & certain side streets (just in case your pup is really reactive to other dogs or people). I enjoy playing with all types of animals, you can learn a lot about their personalities that way. Tug-of-war is one of my personal favorites for dogs, while with cats I enjoy simulating a hunt.

As a dedicated pet-lover and sitter, my main occupation is in pet-care! I’m on Rover full time :) I also don’t do 'pack-walks' for dogs, I like to maximize my time creating a unique experience for your pet & it’s too much of a liability, better safe than sorry! I also love having regulars, it adds structure to both of our schedules. I’m all about gaining trust, if your animal really doesn’t enjoy new people I will put in the time, effort, patience & compassion into earning their trust. There’s this one dog I’ve been working with since I’ve been on Rover & she’s one of my best friends (love you Sonic!) There’s nothing like a fur baby getting excited to see you & greeting you at the door :) I love staying active & being outside, usually when I have extra time in the day I might walk them a bit longer or sit & give them cuddles before leaving (only if you’re alright with that of course!) If your pet needs extra playtime I’m more than happy to oblige!
