I grew up in a house with a dog of my own (collie cross), who I was frequently responsible for walking, generally caring for, and occasionally vet visits. This was the case right from when she was a puppy up to her old age. Since then, I have been responsible for dog sitting for family friends multiply times, including duties such as taking the dogs for walks, feeding, playing with the dogs and generally keeping them company. This has range from small dogs (westie) to bigger dogs (pyrenean mountain dog), including puppies and I have loved every second of it! Spending time with and caring for dogs is genuinely something that brings me incredible joy. Taking care of other people’s dogs is a great opportunity for me to be able to spend time with dogs, and also help someone else out!
