Pet care experience
My beloved 11 year old English bulldog passed away from cancer 2 years ago and I miss her every day. The one thing holding me back from getting another dog is the freedom to travel or do things spur of the moment and be attached to a pet. when I heard about rover I thought this would be a great opportunity to get my dog fix and give pet owners peace of mind with welcoming there pet into my home like it is there own home.

I take direct request from the pet owners as far as how they want there dog taken care of. If they prefer the dog can have free rein of my house and can lay on the furniture if the owner so desires. (I have sheets to cover the furniture if you fear shedding) Many dogs find comfort and safe space in a crate and I have no issue with allowing that as well. I have no pets in my home so dogs that prefer being in a single pet home will do well with me. I live fairly close to a dog park so exercise and activity will not be a problem.

It is very important to know the dogs routine such as eating, bathroom, activity and bed time to try and keep your dog on schedule as close as possible to avoid stress for the dog.
A typical day
I live in a nice area that is 3 blocks from the city park and 5 blocks from the dog park. A walk to one or both of these parks with some activity should keep the pooch physically entertained.

Availability
I’m very experienced with English bulldogs and the special requirements with temperature and needs. I am also experienced with other breeds as well. Routine for a dog is very important so feeding, bathroom and walks that match there regular routine is paramount.
