I Love large breeds, they are very affectionate and although they slobber a lot, I still love them because of their Giant gentleness! I have 3 Great Deans of my own! And I know large breeds take a lot of patience and love to deal with!!! I just love them! I am a Dvm graduated in Brazil, and also a Great Dane breeder, and handler. I also worked at e pet grooming center. I can give a nice bath on your canine friend if you have a big bathtub. Knowing that the big ones need a lot of exercise, im not stingy on the walks if they like we can even go for a jog around the neighborhood. I usually prefer waking in the early mornings, to avoid hurting the pet's paws because of the heat, in the noon hours.
