Hello! My name is Gabriel. I am a responsible and highly organized college graduate looking to help fellow pet owners by working as a dog walker and sitter. As a patient and compassionate life-long animal lover, with a devotion to developing trusting relationships, I am confident in my ability to keep your best friend safe, happy, and healthy. I have lived with pets all my life and have an affinity for making furry friends. I'm definitely the human equivalent of a dog that gets distracted by other dogs, and must greet every one I see. Despite my experience I continue to be amazed at how rewarding and fulfilling dogs can be. I probably don't need to go into great detail on the joys of living with a companion that shows unconditional love and affection. I have my own reliable transportation and would be able to drive your pet in case of an emergency or respond accordingly if your schedules suddenly changes. I am eager to demonstrate extraordinary service as your pet caregiver, dedicated to ensuring each pet gets the necessary care, interaction and attention they deserve.

Gabriel is very capable and kind with all kinds of dogs and they respond to his calm and loving energy with good behavior. Dogs of all temperaments easily go to Gabriel as they sense his commanding yet affectionate nature. He enjoys all aspects of dog care, from taking them on walks, to playing with them, to feeding them. Your pet's safety and comfort are naturally my number one priority. Not all dogs are the same and some will need time and careful attention to get them accustomed to me. While I love to pet and play with pets, I by no means deserve their affection and will need to earn their trust. I have experience with dogs that are pullers on walks and know how to avoid unsafe interactions with other people walking their pets, other animals, and making sure they don't come across anything they shouldn't be eating. At home I will always be supervising your pet when outside to make sure they are safe and getting some exercise or stimulation.

If possible I prefer to have a Meet and Greet with the pet(s) and their owner to make sure we are a good match. It's an excellent way to make sure everyone is comfortable and on the same page.
A typical day
I'll keep to a location that is agreed upon and ideally familiar to the dog in order to minimize the stress of a new environment. A walk in the park is a fantastic way to exercise and keep up to date on local smells. In addition, playing chase, fetch, tug-of-war, or a short training session while at home are all ways they can stay intellectually stimulated and healthy.

Availability
In addition to giving my dog a balanced, nutritious diet, I make sure to keep her up to date on any and all vaccinations and preventative medications including flea/ticks and heartworm pills. I cut her nails weekly and brush her daily with several different types of brushes for different parts of her coat.
