Pet care experience
Since I am waiting to get a dog of my own, dog sitting is the next best thing! I have recently moved from Wisconsin back home to Charleston to start medical school at MUSC. I grew up with golden retrievers, so I especially enjoy big fluffy dogs. I would love to have your dog join me on my daily runs if they are able; I typically aim for 3-5 miles every day. I do not accept any dogs with a history of aggression towards people/other dogs nor resource guarding high value items such as food. This is for the safety of myself just as much as your dog, since I do not have experience with aggressive or resource guarding dogs. Please message me with any questions!

A typical day
I have a county park pass where we can play fetch or go for walks on the paved paths. I also spend a lot of time on the beach! When I am not outside, I am studying at home.

Availability
I have class from 8 to noon M-F but I can watch class at my house online if I am dog sitting that day. 1 to 2 afternoons a week I have mandatory in-person meetings, so the longest I would leave your dog alone is about 2 hours. One of my parents is usually home as well, so if I am not home for an hour or two, my parents probably would be.
