Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and other animals all my life so naturally I’m very comfortable with anything. But, more recently I’ve been fostering dogs from shelters in VA and NC with my partner for about 6 years now. Together we have had all different cases and breeds. With fostering it’s difficult to let go when you’ve had an animal for an extended amount of time but at the same time staying positive and reminding yourself it’s all for their wellbeing and a single night out of the shelter might mean the world to these animals. I have a giant heart and genuinely fall in love with every animal I get to be around so I couldn’t imagine a better fit than boarding.

Gabe is incredible with all types of dogs and cats! He has helped me foster dogs for several years. He has experience with elderly dogs with medical needs, young and energetic dogs, blind dogs, and reactive dogs. He cares so much about the pets and always sneaks them some extra cheese when he cooks. I would 100% recommend Gabe for anyone that needs their pup watched!

We live in an apartment that is dog and cat friendly, we don’t have a lot of land but we do have a small dog park and the greenway trail is a 10 minute walk from our apartment. As far as care we will do anything and everything to make sure your pet is comfortable!

I work multiple jobs here in Boone, my partner also has a busy schedule. I’d say most days we are gone from 8:30-12pm and then someone is around from 12-3 or 4pm and then 6-8pm one of us is back home for good. So we will be away sometimes 4 hours at a time but we do still take extra care before leaving and make sure nothing is forgotten and everyone is comfortable.
