I have had and taken care of various animals my whole life. From tireless dogs, to obstinate horses, to timid rabbits- I have seen and dealt with all sorts of furry situations. Growing up we had many dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and coming from a home that never had less than 3 animals at a time, I always found myself in need of that kind of companionship. So in my first 2 years of college I was lucky enough to find a job that allowed me to expand my dog sitting experience and work with many dogs at once. At this doggy daycare I supervised and kept order in large groups of dogs during their play time, I made and dispersed meals, and I spent 1 on 1 time with dogs who were not suited to join the larger groups. During those college years I also worked a very unconventional barn job, where my duties included feeding and medicating 4 horses, 2 cats, and a koi pond; daily walking excersize with a horse with ligament issues; cleaning; and bringing the horses in and out from pasture. My other various experiences with animals include years of ranch camp experience where we cared for horses and other farm animals, dogsitting/puppysitting with consistent clients in my home town, and 2 years of walking through Wag. I am committed to animal care that exceeds expectations, and to providing animals with all the love, companionship, and exercise they need in daily life.
