Pet care experience
I am a fun-loving and deeply empathetic fur-mom of 4 dogs and a cat, with personal pet caretaking experience of 10+ years. I also have 2.5 years of professional experience as a Fear Free Certified Veterinary Assistant, so I am very comfortable helping families of pets who may have special needs and/or behavioral care needs. I can do in-home pet sitting, dog walks, check-ins, basic grooming (bath, brush, nail trims, clipping of mats). I am also looking to expand my caretaking knowledge to include that of farm animals; I am a very fast learner, extremely hard working & adaptable. I prefer consistent schedules/work, but am open to flexible/temporary opportunities as well.

When in your home, my goal is to make your pet as comfortable as possible and fulfill their normal routine as much as possible. I genuinely believe pets are part of the family and deserve the love, respect and quality of life as such. I can board your friendly pup(s) on a case by case basis as I have 4 friendly dogs and a cat of my own. I have a very large fenced in yard where your pup(s) can enjoy supervised and engaged play. I have a guest room where they have access to cozy sleeping arrangements or a quiet, cozy, space for a kennel if needed.

I like to know as much as possible as my experience with pets is that they all have such unique personalities and needs. Do they like other dogs? What is their typical routine, including feeding times? Are they high energy? Do they like to play fetch? Are they food/toy aggressive? Any special behavior needs? Any special physical needs? Do they need to sleep in a kennel or can they sleep on our guest bed/couch if allowed on furniture? Are they potty trained?
A typical day
I love enriching the lives of pets every single day! Dogs and cats in my care recieve physical and mental stimulation as well as adoring love, pets and cuddles throughout each day. Dogs in my care get potty breaks and supervised outside time at least every two-four hours when the weather permits (if weather is rainy, they get potty breaks every two-four hours and compensated indoor play). I will take dogs on local trails nearby to smell all the new and exciting smells. If the weather is poor but your pup like car rides, we can go "bye-bye-in-the-car-car" so they can have a nice change of scenery and enrichment.

Availability
I am currently in between jobs and plan to work part time. I am available for overnight stays in the owners home. Pets may be able to stay in our home on a case by case basis.
