Pet care experience
I grew up in a family of dog-lovers and so I've had extensive experience taking care of many dogs of all ages (including puppies). I also pet/house sat for neighbors over the years which included caring for cats and birds as well. My love for animals extends past dogs and cats! When I moved to the PNW for university, I missed having a dog and started walking/jogging with a very high energy dog for a campus staff member. I've made many friends with animals of their own over the years that I've had the privilege to care for at various times. In 2020, my fiancé and I moved into a place with a small yard so we adopted our first pup together!

I felt great leaving my pup with Gabby. She was super attentive and curious about what Rudy is like and what his needs were when we had our initial meet and greet. I shared with her that he’s higher energy and gets increased anxiety with less exercise, and she made a clear effort to get him out on long walks to get him a good number of steps each day. My dog also had an upset stomach the day before I left so he required some administration of meds and changes to his meals; she did great with that and gave me regular updates on how he was improving. I would absolutely work with Gabby again!
Gabby took great care of Molly and our house! We could tell Molly was happy and healthy during her time with Gabby. Thanks so much!!
Gabby didn’t mind being patient with my nervous dog and even got her to cuddle at night! She left my place very clean and sent cute photos throughout the sitting. I would definitely book with her again!
Gabby was available to help us short notice with a weekend away, and she was awesome! She asked lots of great questions about Eve and about the house, sent regular updates, followed our requests and communicated her schedule and plans upfront. We could relax on the trip knowing that Eve was in great hands. We are so happy we were able to find Gabby!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, triggers or quirks I need to be aware to ensure they are cared for properly. It would especially be good to know about triggers (squirrels, cats, wheels, etc.) before taking them on walks or jogs.
A typical day
I love to walk around the neighborhood with Sunset Hill being a popular stop given the amazing view and large grassy area. I enjoy playing fetch with dogs and playing games. Wrapping treats in a towel, hiding treats around for scent work and utilizing a flirt pole to work on prey drive are also all activities that are generally very popular. I also enjoy working on training for tricks if that is something you'd like to discuss.

Availability
I'm currently available throughout the weekdays for check-ins/walks/playtime. I work a hybrid schedule that has me in the office a few days a week, but can certainly discuss details directly if you have any questions. I have more limited availability on the weekends but can certainly make time to care for your pet(s) with a days' notice if needed so don't hesitate to reach out!
