Experienced owner looking to walk dogs!
Pet care experience
Since I was young, I have been around family dogs. When family and friends have gone away, I have also stayed and looked after them. The majority of my experience is with terriers and collies but I’m also really comfortable with bullies, shepherds and hounds. For the last three years, I have owned a border collie cross called Watson. Watson is 10 years old and due to his age, he is now struggling to go on long walks. He will not be joining me on any walks and your dog/s will have my undivided attention. I’m very knowledgeable on dog health, good walks and would love to make this into a full time job someday!

Gabby was super friendly and helpful with my little troublemaker. Although he was super reactive, she was very informative and provided me with a lot of advice and tips. I am planning on having him walked again with Gabby once he’s finished his behavioural training. I highly recommend.
Gabby was absolutely brilliant, booked at weeks notice and went out of her way with my dog. My dog is a big lad and some people may have been put of but she was fully professional and showed a good understanding of the best way to be with him from the first meet. Gabby was able to walk Phoebe at last minute for me and I’m so so grateful! She was great with Phoebe and asked all the right questions, I would highly recommend her.

I have good knowledge around the safety of dogs. For Watson, he can roam around in a garden that’s fenced and his wormer and flea treatment is kept up to date. If I identify anything wrong with your dog (e.g., presence of ticks, fleas), I will alert you so that you can arrange for this to be sorted. I’m aware that some dogs cannot be off the lead. Watson is a reactive dog and I’m comfortable handling situations when dogs off the lead have approached him. I’m happy to assist you on whatever is best for your dog.

My dog Watson is a reactive dog so I know how to deal with his behaviour on walks. It would be good to know if you’re dog has behaviours that I need to be aware of and how you deal with them. It would also be good to know how long your dog can be walked for!
A typical day
My dog Watson and I use to go on walks lasting in excess of 3 miles. I have taken him to the woods or the beach and ended the day with a pup cup from Starbucks.

I currently work from home three times a week. My job is flexible and any walks can be done first thing in the morning or during my lunch break.
