I have had animals my whole life! From dogs and cats to horses, hamsters, and a bird. I have trained all of my dogs myself and I have been asked by friends to help them with their pet training, since my dog is so well behaved. I love praising and giving pets attention, while also not encouraging or allowing bad behavior to occur to the best of my ability.

Gabby did a great job with our pups, they loved her. She was hired to house sit overnight and this really saved us in a last minute punch as we needed to travel out of town. Would definitely hire her again!
Gabby was an absolute rock star with our two puppies. She was kind enough to do a meet&greet before the stay, which gave me peace of mind as a relatively new dog mum. She looked after our puppies as if they were her own, lots of cuddles and play time and even some training. And she gave us some helpful tips for treats they loved, continued crate training, etc. Would absolutely recommend Gabby to other dog parents.
Gabby has watched my pup Scout a few times by now and she has been fantastic every single time. She’s so kind, reliable and always sends pics. I feel so at ease living my baby with her.
Gabby is great with our two cats! Very communicative and always gives detailed updates. She takes time to play with them and follow all instructions as asked. This is our second time booking Gabby and will use her again.

I always check to make sure the harness is on properly prior to opening the door and always lock the door (unless directed not to) when inside and outside, even if it is only for a brief time. Before I leave, I make sure there is fresh, clean water (unless directed not to). I am really good about asking about things if I am not clear about anything. I like to give updates about the service during the service and/or after the service has been completed.

I’m pretty good at reading animals, but let me know if they have any triggers, so I know to try and avoid them. If they have any additional needs or medication, feel free to message me or put it in the care instructions, so I can read it and let you know if I can fulfill those needs. The more information you can put in the care instructions, the more I know what I’m working with. I’d much rather let you know that I’d be unable to fulfill those needs prior to booking, than under delivering and the pet having a less than awesome experience that they deserve.
A typical day
I will follow a schedule if you provide one, but if not provided I usually get my day started pretty early. Your pet will eat before or at the same time as me, because it’s not fair to watch someone eat when you’re hungry. I have found that they know their schedule most of the time, so I try to listen and be attentive to their behavior. If they want to play, we’ll play. If they want to cuddle, we’ll cuddle. If they want to sleep, I’ll let them sleep. If they know it’s food time, that’s when I’ll feed them. I leave the day up to them, unless instructed to do differently. I will probably send a lot of photos and videos, but you don’t have to feel like you need to respond to all of them. I am just letting you know that your fur baby is doing well and showing you all the adorable stuff that they are doing! If you would like me to send fewer updates, just let me know.

I just started nursing school that will be in class from 8-4 through the week and I will be serving on the weekends from 10-5. If your fur baby is able to be alone during those times, I would love to take care of them! *** Additionally, since I do have my own fur baby, I offer a discount if staying overnight is an option, but not required. Just mention it in the messages prior to booking. ***
