Pet care experience
Caring for my dog who suffered from epilepsy and cancer provided me with ample experience dealing with a difficult pet and made me an expert dealing with easy going pets! Throughout college, I dog sat for friends and neighbors on their week long or weekend vacations including drop in visits but also stay over jobs. When I lived in the city of Pittsburgh, I walked and boarded many pets in the neighborhood! Now living in the West Wash Park neighborhood of Denver, I’m excited to get to know my new community and all the pets and owners it holds! As a 25 year old young professional, it’s time to make some extra money and also being the animal loving vegan I am I thought no better way to do so than with Rover! Hopefully, this money will help me save towards my own pet in the near future :)

My dog is 14 and has had serious problems in the past which are chronic now. Gabby was friendly to me and serious about the instructions I gave her. Coby appeared comfortable with her and he was happy when he got home. The pictures she took and shared during his stay were reassuring. I will definitely ask Gabby to watch Coby again.
Gabby watched our two dogs when we were away from home, either due to a late night at work, or a visit out-of-town. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they were comfortable with her, and her with them. But, what I noticed most of all was that, while I’ve had to leave detailed instructions with many pet sitters, this wasn’t necessary with Gabby. Several times, she anticipated what needed to be done, whether it was an early feeding or a short walk outside, without our needing to ask.

I am very attentive and cuddly with pets! I love going on walks/keeping them entertained with games. There are currently no pets in my home now, and I am very relaxed about pets coming onto furniture etc. Additionally, I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

A typical day
I love to go on walks, and when possible, go on hikes! I grew up in an amazing neighborhood full of dog parks, so I’ll always be open to bringing your pet there. I love playing other fun games like fetch, tug of war, etc.
