Hi! I'm Gabby. I've been a dog guardian for over 10 years now. I currently have 4 of my own rescue dogs, ranging from 4kg to 30kg, aged 1 to 12. I've worked with dogs in some format for over 10 years now; starting off working in kennels, to running a secure dog field for 7 years, to working as a Welfare and Adoption Officer in a rescue centre, running a Natural pet shop and currently working as a Trainer & Behaviour Advisor for a large charity rescue centre, as well as always containing to learn more and keep up my CPD (including recently passing my Canine Nutrition OFQUAL Diploma!) I've worked with all varieties of ages and breeds, big or small, rescue or bought, reactive or non reactive, or if they need medication, so I have plenty of experience to be able to give your dog the best that they need. I can help with training (all methods used are positive and force free!) on walks and provide you feedback as well as things for you to continue with, including reactivity. I have a van kitted out with crates due to my own dogs, so your dog(s) will be transported safely if we travel to go on a nice walk somewhere.

Gabby is one of the very few people I would trust to look after my dogs. She pet sits for them regularly and they adore her. One of my dogs in particular is dog reactive and can be a handful. But Gabby takes it all in her stride, her training in dog behaviour clearly making a huge difference in the way she approaches the job. If you're looking for more than your average pet sitter and really want someone who understands and loves dogs then drop Gabby a message. 100% would recommend.
Five stars just aren't enough to capture how fantastic Gabby has been as our dog sitter! From the moment we left Charlie and Minnie in her care, we knew they were in the best hands possible, going above and beyond to make sure they're comfortable, entertained and exercised. Not only did she provide excellent care, but Gabby also kept us updated with delightful anecdotes that left us chuckling and completely at ease. Her communication was top-notch, letting us know about their walks, meals, and all the little quirks that make our fluff balls unique. Gabby is reliable, caring and simply fabulous dog sitter. We'll definitely be using her services again and can't wait for Charlie and Minnie to have another fun-filled day with her!

I work with exactly what your dog needs! Do they sleep on the bed? More than fine by me! Do they have a favourite toy that they need in their bed? You got it! Do they have a special routine they have when getting dressed ready for a walk? Mine too! Whatever they need to keep their routine and minimise their stress, I'll give them what they need.

A typical day
Every dog is different so I cater walks and stays to your dog. Whether it's a puppy walk and they just need time to stop and process the environment, or a reactive dog that has a positive training plan in place to follow. Walks will be catered to your dog, so if they love a long walk then we'll go on a nice hike! If they're senior or struggle on walks and just want to pootle down the street to wee on the best lamppost then that's fine too! Enrichment is very important to me for dogs, whether that's brain games, chewing/licking/sniffing or just practicing some fun training tricks!!

Availability
I work full time, so walks and drop ins are available weekday evenings or weekends. Overnight stays are available on weekends. Depending on availability, last minute bookings may be possible too.
