Hello I go by Hope! I just moved from Ohio and am fairly new to the Bradenton area. I have watched dogs for quite some time now and I absolutely love it. I received my bachelors from The Ohio State University, an MBA from Texas Tech, a masters in educational research and evaluation and a Ph.D. in higher education from Ohio University. I grew up with dogs. However, I’ve gained the most experience by fostering dogs for several rescue organizations. I’m available for boarding 24/7 as my partner and I work at home. We have a 2300 square foot house and are always there. The maximum amount of time your dogs will be alone is 3 hours. I’m also available for the majority of federal holidays. We have a big house with a huge yard protected by a privacy fence. Our house is extremely dog friendly as it is complete with vinyl floors and safe furniture. There are also dog beds galore. There are breeds I do not take due to insurance reasons: pit bulls, American bull dogs, Alaskan Malamutes, Chow Chows, Wolf Hybrids

Picked our bernadoodle up earlier today from her first visit/overnight stay with Hope and Scott. Video/photos and text exchanged. We couldn't be happier with the service they provided. Had a bad experience with a previous sitter who temporarily lost our dog. I know our Teddi is now safe and sound with Hope and Scotts care.

Dr. Hope is the first sitter that has completely put my mind at ease. I know my doggies are well cared for while I’m out of town and they are always excited to go there. I highly recommend her!

So I make sure when I board or sit dogs that the house is clean. This can be difficult but I always maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness. We do not have any carpet at our house which makes clean up easier. Animals, like people, do not like living in filth. Also, we have a huge yard to allow dogs to run freely.

Because of the amount of dogs coming through I do not accept unvaccinated dogs. Dogs should have no issues of past aggressive behavior and it is essential they get along with other dogs. Dogs MUST BE fixed. Please include detailed feeding instructions, how they would like to be put away, if they are crate trained, if they liked to be picked up, and anything you think we should know to make them feel at home.
A typical day
I always believe you should set dogs up for success. This is done by making sure they have a safe area to burn off energy or by walking them in a safe setting. I love watching dogs play tag and tug of war.

Availability
I work from home so I am always available to tend to your dogs. Dogs are a huge part of my life and I need them as much as they need me. Dog ownership and dog watching helps me maintain a regular schedule and gives me a reason to wake up every morning! Now realistically, sometimes I have to run an errand now and then so, please make sure to communicate with me how your fur baby would like to be put away.
