Pet care experience
I’ve had atleast 1 dog in my life since I was a baby. Two dogs at once has being the average, 40 at once being the most! (An animal sanctuary in Cyprus) I spent 2 months getting to know each individual dog, some came from really troubled backgrounds but I learnt as long as your patient and sensitive to their needs they’ll trust you eventually! Our previous Labrador had several litters of puppies which I helped to train as they became ready to be re-homed. Since then we’ve owned a blind springer spaniel and I currently have a labradoodle who’s character is larger than life (unfortunately she lives up in Scotland) I love dogs, I think they are so special and truly become a member of the family. I love that as you get to know a dog you see it’s individual personality traits come through. They make for great company! Trust me your dog will get all the cuddles necessary (+more) when it’s hanging out with me!! I live with two children but they are fantastic around animals and really understand animal care and well being, they are gentle around animals and appreciate them as much as I do!

Freya made sure that Tess was well looked after whilst we were away, taking her for walks and providing us with updates and pictures. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Freya to other dog owners looking for dog care, or in asking Freya to look after our dog again.
Bess is a very timid dog, She has had a lovely few days with Freya. Plenty of long walks, a peaceful calm environment to live in and company with other dogs which our Bess loves. Would certainly leave her with Freya again.
Our 1 Yr old black lab had a lovely active week with Freya and family, she has come home healthy and relaxed.
Freya looked after our puppy Atlas for 3 nights, she took excellent care of him taking him on fun and exciting walks. She and her family were very friendly and welcoming. She sent plenty of updates and was quick to respond to messages. Atlas had a great time and will be going back when we're next away!

I have a back yard to the house that your pet can access easily, I live on a corner house so we have space and a driveway which means I am not directly on the road

I’ve dealt with all sorts of dogs in the past, including disabled dogs and blind dogs! but a heads up to their extra needs/feeding times is always helpful!
A typical day
I live beside two great parks which I pass through twice a day mon-fri which are really dog friendly. I can garante to spend as long as your dog wants to put in the park with a ball, or just walking about, I can also get out to the peaks for a walk (easiest by train if your dog doesn’t mind) if your dog requires a longer walk

Availability
I work as an Au pair so I am home throughout the day so it is really easy to take time to to walk or feed your pet. I love getting outdoors into the peaks or the parks so if you’d like your pet to get a great walk and can provide it!
