Active Walker and Auss-ome Sidekick

Pet care experience

Hello! I am a life-long dog lover looking for additional, four-legged company. I grew up with dogs, and adopted Maverick (see pictures) almost two years ago. Having a Mini Aussie, staying active is a must, so helping your pet get their energy out won't be a problem. Additionally, we have an overflowing bin of squeaky toys, chew toys, balls, food puzzles (including Pup Pod) and dog-related accessories (see pictures). With permission, my dog could also keep yours company to incorporate socialization. If you have any questions, concerns or requests, please reach out!

Safety, trust & environment

Daycare: The dogs will play with an abundance of toys (see pictures) and each other. Throughout the day I will also take them on many short breaks (5-15 minutes) and a couple long breaks (30-60 minutes). To ensure I can easily stay alert on the dogs' behavior, I have a webcam linked to one of my computer monitors. Upon request, an elevated cot or crate can be provided for your dog. Walking: I'm willing to do long walks throughout the city or relocate somewhere nearby (Forest Park, etc.). I carry a treat pouch, water bottles for dogs, different sized leashes and toys. I will always do my best to field special requests.

A typical day

Mav and I typically get to The Field around 6:30 a.m. This would be followed by breakfast (with food puzzles) and at-home play, at which point I let him rest for a few hours while I work. Our mid-day break is a long walk, typically along the waterfront or in Forest Park. This again would be followed by lunch and some indoor play. Finally, after work we either head to Wallace Park or take another long walk.
