Your dog is my dog!

Pet care experience

Hello there! Since I was born I've had three dogs in my family's household at a time, including three Newfoundlands (over 400lbs of dog!). For the past 8 years I would also take care of my dogs while my family went on vacation as well as helping with other dogs my mother took care of at our house during the day. From living with dogs for twenty-four years I can confidently say that I am experienced in walking, feeding, and playing with dogs. Several of my dogs have also had serious health issues and as a result I've had experience in wound care, administering medications, and vet consultations. If your dog needs special attention, I will keep that information in mind at all times. I am also quick to react in emergency situations and I own an SUV which I will gladly use for transport. Most of all, I will ensure that all dogs get the love they get at home - the love they deserve! I am currently finishing my master's degree and I work casually every few weeks. I am very responsible and excellent at time management! I will have a very flexible schedule and I will be free Monday-Friday.

Freddie will be your dog's best friend. She has grown up with 7 different dogs, some who have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Kind, compassionate, and reliable are just a few words to describe Freddie. Truly, a wonderful young woman who loves all creatures, furry or clawed (she had hermit crabs for YEARS) !! She has experience with dogs from puppy years to senior years, dogs with severe allergies as well as dogs that have other health issues. Your pet, no matter what kind, will be in the most wonderful hands with Freddie as their caregiver\dog sitter\animal sitter!!!

Information Frederica J. would like to know about your pet

I would prefer to be informed of general health and well-being - food restrictions, allergies, timidness, altered physical abilities, quirks, etc. I welcome all breeds and as I mentioned above, I am very experienced with dogs weighing over 150lbs.

A typical day

One of my favorite places to walk dogs is Point Pleasant Park - there are so many different routes to take! I also enjoy taking dogs to a fenced field in Bedford, ideal for playing fetch (if they are comfortable around other dogs). Tug-of-war is a personal favorite for playing at home!
