Hello, we are Frank and Dana and we live in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood in Wolcott. We have lived in our home almost 20 years and have owned 2 Shiba Inu dogs during our time here. Unfortunately, they have both passed on and we are not planning on getting any others at this time, but wanted to offer a home environment to visiting dogs. This is not a business for us, but a fun opportunity to offer our love to other dogs while their families are away. In this case, we are interested more in long weekends (yet may be more flexible in some cases) and will only watch dog(s) from one family at a time. This is a perfect environment for dogs preferring more human interaction as they will certainly get a lot of our attention. We do work during the week (Mon-Fri), but our schedule is flexible. We do prefer a crate-trained dog or one that is house-trained, not destructive, and does not get anxiety when we may be away. When we are all together, we will go for walks, play in the house or outdoors on a line, and get lots of exercise and fun. We do not have a fenced yard, so the dog must be trained on a leash.
