Pet care experience
I have 3 dogs myself. A labradoodle, a deaf cockapoo, and a maltipoo. I have taken care of clients dogs, my sister’s dog, and my neighbor’s dog. I have dog sat dogs from 10 pounds to over 100 pounds with different temperaments. The first thing I do is earn a dogs trust. Dogs seem to be drawn to me. I’ve had dogs come up to me whose owners told me they never approach strangers.

Francisco was the best, and made us feel so comfortable being away! Very communicative and receptive! Obviously kind and loving with animals! We knew our animals and house were in good hands! Very much hoping he’s available in the future!
Francisco did amazing walking my 145lb Newphie as-well as my crackhead of a Rottie who pulls A LOT! Super grateful for his time and willingness to take on such a task. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

I always make sure food is put away. Put away anything that may be a choking hazard. I give my dogs affection and attention. I have them on a eating schedule and make sure they have plenty of filtered water and potty breaks. We walk our dogs around the neighborhood. We give them constant love.

I would need to know if a dog is aggressive with strangers or other dogs, cats, squirrels, etc. I would like to know about the dogs overall personality and what they enjoy doing. Some dogs have special needs like my deaf dog or may have a special diet. Those are definitely things that I would like to know. I know dogs may have favorite toys or routines. As much information as you can give me would be helpful.
A typical day
I live near Bryan Park so I take my dogs on walks at the park and around my neighborhood. I can walk your dog around your neighborhood or potentially any nearby parks. I like to play with my dogs and train them. My wife works for PETCO corporate so we’ve taken them to structured training classes. I can potentially offer that service as well. I shower my dogs with petting and belly rubs.

Availability
I am a local Realtor that with my own Real Estate LLC, so my schedule is flexible. I’m trying to be more active in my daily life and figured Rover would be a good option to help dog owners out. My sister became a Rover walker and she loves it!
