I began raising my own dog, Sneakers at only 10 years old. Ever since then, my love for animals flourished. I adopted two new dogs (Lucky and Mabelle) over the course of 8 years and have effectively trained and built a compassionate relationship with all of them. I love playing with dogs, walking with them, and giving them many warm cuddles. I have also volunteered at animal shelters, and I recently began a small art business called Polymer Paws in which I donate the proceeds to local animal shelters. Dogs are my past, present, and future as I continue on in my veterinary medicine education at UC Davis. I am continuously acquiring knowledge of animals and their extraordinary nature and beauty to understand and connect to many more animals in the future 🐾
