My dog Ellie stayed with Francesca over Easter weekend and and she was amazing! I loved the pictures and sweet messages that she sent and it made me so happy to know that Ellie was so well taken care of! Francesca is very thorough before you drop your dog off, we met before and I was able to see her very warm and comfortable home where Ellie would be staying and to meet her two ...
My goldendoodle puppy Teddy had a wonderful stay with Francesca this past week. I’m pretty sure he was disappointed when we came to pick him up because he had such a great time with her! She kept me updated with photos throughout Teddy’s stay. I definitely hope to use Francesca again the next time we go out of town!
Rosey is suffering from withdrawal from all the buddies she made last week while staying with Francesca! It’s the only place I’ll leave her from now on when we travel.
Your dog's new favorite place 2 go!
I have 3 children who are grown and living on their own. People know me as an animal owner/lover/communicator since always. I've been an owner/breeder since '96 of Rhodesian Ridgebacks. While I gravitate to larger dogs, I love all breeds -mutts too. I'm who friends and family come to for advice and help with training issues etc, so I'm opening myself up to doing this beyond my circle of friends. I'm available ...
What Francesca would like to know about your dog
I insist upon a meet and greet on neutral turf before you come to my home. My clients' dogs get along with others and are happy car travelers. They sleep in a crate or enclosure and are happy in there. Here they will sleep with my dogs in a room off the kitchen. They are social and come when called (also, I train them to come to my whistle). Typically they get up around 6:00, are fed soon after all together, have a run/play-time outside and rest in the places I've described. They're fed supper around 6:30/7 and they go into their crates at night around 9:30pm.
I prefer non-barkers. I discourage barking when it is in play. I find they can play just as happily without barking. When they bark for strangers driving in, that is not discouraged. I don't tolerate jumping up, counter-surfing or begging. I have lots of "party baskets" which hold a number of chew toys, balls, antlers, etc which are replenished with new frequently.
