Pet care experience
I’ve had 3 dogs throughout my life: Patches (the sweetest rescued mutt), Lizzie (chocolate lab), and Logan (havanese). I miss dogs’ sweet presence and silly antics. Looking to help make some pups (and their owners) happy, whether that’s taking them on walks or checking in on them during the day to take them to the bathroom/feed them/give extra play, pets, and cuddles/etc.

I am nurturing and energetic, so I will go above and beyond in taking care of your dog. I also realize how special dogs are to their owners and how they truly become part of the family based on my own experience. My main goal is to make sure both you and your dog are comfortable and happy. I currently do not have any dogs because I am a recent graduate (Villanova University) and would not be able to afford one. Additionally, I would not be able to bring any dogs into my apartment, but I am more than happy to dog-sit, do daily/nightly check-ins, and take them for walks.

I would like to know if there’s any unusual behavior to look out for, like if they don’t do well with other dogs or specific kinds of dogs.
A typical day
Lots and lots of fetch (if your dog is into that). Of course all the belly rubs and butt scratches; I also like to pet under their collars since that area gets forgotten about. I really like the dog park at Tompkins Square and often find myself hanging there to watch all the dogs run around and interact.

I currently have plenty of time on my hands. I am looking for a job, so my average day consists of completing applications. Taking a break to hangout with dogs is mutually beneficial.
