Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Fran. I work from home full-time, and am looking to mix up work day with some puppy love! I have been dogsitting on Rover since 2019. First at my house in Colorado, and now here in Ann Arbor. I live in a townhome with a fenced in backyard. My dog, Mav, is a 60 lb cattle dog mix who loves to run, play, and (mostly) nap with friends. He’s very social so we’d love to have other dogs over to watch while I’m home. Due to the size of our yard and our toddler, we are only able to watch small and kid-friendly dogs at this time. I’m also interested in coming to your house to visit and check-in during the day if you’re at work! Please reach out if you have any questions! Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend!

My yard is surrounded by a 3 ft chain fence, and I never let the dogs outside unattended. I also always keep dogs on a leash if we are leaving the fenced yard for a walk or car ride.

I am open to all dogs, but cannot leash walk dogs over 85 lbs. I also prefer to sit spayed/neutered animals, because that’s what I am most experienced with and will fit in well with my neutered dog.
A typical day
We will enjoy the backyard, playing fetch and keep away. We can go for car rides, visit the local dog park, and go for leash walks as well.

I am home full-time with my dog, so hosting another dog is easy! We take frequent breaks in the backyard and I separate the dogs to feed them meals.
