Tell me everything. Food preferences, medications, how you found your dog...or rather how they found you ? . Do they socialize well with other dogs and humans, do they have a favor snack or toy. When's the last time they had their shots? Do they hate a particular corner or bush? Is the tabby cat down the road a known enemy? You know your pet better than anyone.

I love to long distance run, so for high energy dogs I like to throw in some jogs or sprints. Older dogs, we take it easy and go the right pace for their joints and feet. Puppies kind of walk themselves, I'm not a dog trainer but even puppies understand chase games and will usually run along. Ideally any nearby park would be the goal for the walk and then some playing on the grass. Always on the leash of course ?
