I have owned various pets since I was a child. Always responsible and loving. They have feelings too! I'm retired from the medical field after 23yrs.and want to do something that's fun. I have had cats..dogs..birds..fish..snakes..etc. I think I've covered most species.? My children are grown and out of the house now. I inherited a couple of critters. My family has always been very fond of animals and instilled the responsibility of what it is to care for one. I am a firm believer that no pet should be hit as a form of discipline. Treats are always a reward for good behavior. Playing and talking to pets is a way of demonstrating positive reinforcement. It is the best when you have a great response.
