I have a long history of being trusted to take care of other people's beloved pets. My first pet sitting job was as a third grader in Kentucky; the client's dog was actually a wolf-hybrid. I have always been passionate about God's creatures, trusting them as much as they trust me. I also pet sit for private clients on the side; mostly two to three clients that rely on me for vacations, holidays, and special occasions. I take each and every one of my pet sitting appointments seriously, making sure I take care to provide the animal with all of the proper care given to me by their owners and also take extra time to give them extra love to make them feel comfortable. I make sure they get their prescribed medications as needed, I give them the asked for time and additional time as needed for walking/exercise/one-on-one time so that they will be content until their owners return home. Most of the walks are for 30 minutes, I generally give an additional 10 to 15 minutes or more as needed, depending on what the dog needs of course. I deal with a lot of senior dogs and dogs with medical needs; I give them extra care because they need that. Depending upon the dog/cat abilities, I make sure I give them walks and play time that will satisfy their needs. I grew up in a family that loves sharing their lives with animals, domestic and wild; because of that, I always wanted to have some kind of animal in my life, so, pet sitting allows me to be around them and satisfy that craving to share my own life with them. I am very passionate, caring, and loving, and my clients see that when their dogs/cats/reptiles, etc. show their love for me when they see me. This tells them I am dong a great job and that they can trust me with their pets. There is nothing more endearing to me to have a dog or cat get excited when they see me. In my opinion, life isn't complete without an animal to share it with.
