I’ve been a pet owner for over 20 years and have always been the one friends and family could confide in to watch their fur, feather or scaled friend. Whether it be for the day, a couple nights or even a couple months when they had to be away for work, school or go on vacation, they knew they could rely on me and that I would care for their pet as if it were my own.

Flora and her family are so sweet, accommodating to a slight change in plans, and overall just fun people. Great yard and clean house in a safe location. We got plenty of pictures and videos in that 36 hours. You can tell our pups were loved like their own! Our dalmatian and Newfoundland had a great time with Dixie, Tango, and their other booking Steve. We are in the area for a couple more months and just wish we had used her sooner! We will definitely rebook a couple more times if schedules align
From our first interaction, it was clear Flora loves animals and took to Archer immediately... She sent lots of pictures showing how much fun he was having and how much attention he was getting. I could not be happier with his stay.
Flora was amazing! She kept me updated with so many pictures and videos of my sweet boy & I appreciated that so much. Very responsive & made my puppy feel at home. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you Flora!!

I have a fenced in back yard as well as a large outdoor run the dogs can safely play in with a doggy door to an air conditioned/heated shed for when they want to escape the heat/cold.

If your dog is special needs or requires any medical assistance you can feel comfortable knowing you have a medical professional taking care of your fur baby. I have experience with administering medications to dogs, cats, birds, horses, etc via multiple routes and can monitor and record their vitals so you’ll know how they did while in my care. Please make sure before booking a stay with us that your pet has a Veterinarian on file, all vaccines are up to date and are using a flea preventative. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me before booking to make sure we are the right fit for your beloved pet.
A typical day
The activities we do will depend on the breed and exercise requirements. Some dogs don’t need to go on a three mile run while others do. Just let me know what they enjoy for play time and I’ll make it happen. We have plenty of toys for both dogs and cats here at the house but you are welcome to bring what makes them feel comfortable.

Availability
I am a nurse but I work part time so I am available most days and times. I can take in pets as early as 6am and they can stay as late as 11pm or just spend the night if that is easier for your family. I can also do drop in visits. Please reach out to me if drop in times aren’t flexible so we can work out what works best for everyone.
