Lover of all animals :)
Pet care experience
I had dogs and cats growing up but moved away for school about a year and a half ago and unfortunately, I am unable to have a pet of my own at my apartment. I have a lot of love to give and would love to be able to take care of your pet however necessary, whether it's going on a walk/playing or just keeping them company :)
Reviews
Fionna was fantastic! Communicated, sent photos and took great care of our pup. Would definitely work with her again!

Fionna is wonderful as always. No one I trust more!

I do not believe in having a set routine because each animal and household is different. With that being said I make sure that there is food and water available for your dog/cat, get some exercise in, and some cuddles/pets. It's very important to me that I meet your and your pet's needs and expectations. All I ask is that you communicate what that includes for each visit. Respecting your home is one of the most important things to me. If there are any areas in your home you do not want me in for whatever reason please let me know and I will stay out (with the exception of an emergency that would require me to go in there). On that note, please disclose if there are any cameras inside of your home. While the care I provide for your pet(s) and home does not change whether or not there is a camera, I appreciate knowing if I'm being monitored in any way.

General: -Vet preferences *I never want to have to take an animal to the vet, but just like if you were home, there's always a chance something could happen requiring a visit to the vet. Please provide me with the address of their typical veterinary clinic as well as your preferred emergency vet if you have one. While I hope to never have to use this information I would much rather have it in advance than have to try to figure it out in the moment. -Are they spayed/neutered? -How is your dog/cat typically around kids and other people? The answers you give will not deter me from working with you and your pet(s) but please be honest so I can provide the best care possible :)

As I've mentioned previously, I want to stick to the routines that you've established within your home so please communicate what that is. If your pet is used to getting a treat after a walk, awesome! If not, also awesome! If your pet is used to snuggling at night, great! If they don't, that's also great! It should be about your pet, but please communicate these things. I will make sure we go over all of this stuff during the meet and greet and if I ever have any questions I will absolutely reach out. Additionally, if you think of something randomly (even if it's at 2 am) please let me know! With that being said, the general routines I have are as follows: Dog walking: -Arrive and greet your dog(s) -Go on the walk. I am always open to exploring new areas with your dog, but I completely understand that you and/or your dog(s) may not be comfortable with that. If not, we'll just take the typical route and probably get some pets in along the way :) -Return home, make sure they have food and water, give a treat, and say goodbye Drop-in visits: -Arrive and greet your pet(s) -Check on food and water -Get done whatever NEEDS to get done (medication, for example) -Spend the rest of the time playing, cuddling, whatever else your pet enjoys/what you'd like me to do -Say goodbye House sitting: -Wake up and take pet(s) outside to go to the bathroom -Make sure they have food, water, and medication -Walks, playing, potty breaks, etc. throughout the day -Take your pet(s) outside one last time and make sure everything is locked and secure before going to bed House sitting is by far the service that changes the most between each pet so please communicate what routines your pet is used to (wake-up time, feeding, walking, etc.) as well as what they like to do. If they like being outside I will gladly sit outside the entire day with them (assuming the weather isn't terrible). If they're a complete couch potato, I'll gladly do that too. I'm pretty flexible and my primary goal is to make sure that you and your pet(s) are comfortable with them in my care :)

Availability
House sitting: I'm a student at the U and beginning the week of May 13th I will have class Monday and Tuesday nights for a few hours. There's a fair chance I will also be booked for a walk or drop-in with another client at some point while I'm caring for your pet(s). These are 30 minutes-1 hour so I won't be gone much longer than that. Additionally, I work 3-4 8 hour shifts per week and will need to leave during those times. I am more than willing to provide you with my specific schedule once a booking is confirmed. I occasionally work overnight and/or 16 hour shifts and have blocked off the days that this is the case. Specifically for overnights, I am not unwilling to care for your pets, but I know not everyone is comfortable with it so I blocked it off to make it easier. Please still reach out if that won't be an issue! Drop-ins & Dog walking: I have found it is easier for both myself and pet owners if I provide the specific times for dates I am available. This leads to less declining of requests on my end and pet owners finding the sitter that works for them quicker and easier. The times provided are subject to change, but I don't do that often. I try to update this about a month out, but please feel free to inquire past that, as I may be a bit more flexible and not committed to as much at that time :) 5/1: 8:30am-3:30pm 5/2: 8:00am-1:00pm 5/3: 8:00am-8:00pm 5/4: 4:30pm-8:00pm 5/5: 4:30pm-8:00pm 5/6: 10:30am-11:30am, 1:00pm-8pm 5/7: 1:00pm-8:00pm 5/8: 11:00am-3:30pm 5/10: 8:30am-8:00pm 5/11: 8:30am-8:00pm 5/12: 8:00am-3:30pm 5/13: 10:00am-4:00pm 5/14: 9:30am-5:15pm 5/15: 9:30am-8:00pm 5/16: 9:30am-8:00pm 5/17: 5:00pm-8:00pm 5/18: 4:30pm-8:00pm 5/19: 4:30pm-8:00pm 5/20: 9:30am-4:45pm 5/21: 9:30am-5:30pm 5/22: 9:30am-3:30pm 5/23: 9:30am-8:00pm 5/24: 8:30am-8:30pm 5/25: 8:30am-8:30pm 5/26: 8:00am-8:00pm 5/27: 8:00am-4:45pm 5/28: 8:00am-5:30pm 5/29: 8:30am-8:00pm 5/30: 8:00am-8:00pm 5/31: 8:00am-8:00pm
