Pet care experience
I love animals! I grew up with a childhood dog, a sweet boxer named Charlie. When I was in high school, we adopted a shih-tzu mix named Ella, and I helped with walking, feeding, bathing, training, and of course, providing belly rubs. I briefly considered going to vet school, so I spent half a year volunteering at a veterinary office, where I learned a lot about cats and dogs, their behaviors, and how to take care of them. My career path led me away from veterinary medicine, but I still wanted to keep animals in my life. I began volunteering with PAWS NY when I was in undergrad, and have helped several elderly clients with walking their dogs. Most recently, I fostered a cat for several months while his owner was in the hospital. Animals bring me so much joy and I hope to make them happy as well!

Fionna is really loving and went above and beyond. She also cleaned my litter box and took out the trash in addition to what was asked. ✨ There were some issues with the front door giving her access but Fionna was able to figure out the situation herself without my help. ✨ so glad i booked her 💯
Fionna is an excellent and trustworthy cat sitter with clear and honest communication. I have two Bengal cats that are very hyper and curious which can be a lot to deal with, and she was so patient and helpful when my younger cat had an accident outside of the litter box. Not only that, I was surprised at how neat and clean she left the place! 10/10, thank you Fionna!!

Every animal has such a unique personality and I love getting to know them :) Please also let me know your boundaries as far as what areas or activities are restricted for your pet! *Please note that I do not drive, so if your home is difficult to access by MTA, I will likely have to decline!*
A typical day
I'm very go-with-the-flow and can adjust based on what your dog likes to do! I love being active and trying to hit 10K steps a day, especially by going on walks to nice views along the water or to a local cafe. When I'm in the city, I've taken dogs to Boris & Horton for some socialization and special dog-friendly treats. Since I'm a student, I spend much of my day studying and love bringing pups with me to a a cafe with outdoor seating. I also love lounging and playing with cats! I especially enjoy putting on a show for them and watching them watch cat TV; it's so cute!

I’m currently in PA school, so my days can vary. I’m mostly free on weekends and evenings, with the occasional late afternoon or early morning available as well.
