#1: I have a half acre fully fenced in backyard for dogs to run around and play in! #2: My father was a veterinary doctor/surgeon so I have grown up loving animals and learning about caring for animals #3: I have been dog and cat sitting for friends for 10+ years! All different breeds and sizes AVAILABILITY: I'm a grad student doing classes online so my schedule is flexible! I'm always available to give your dog(s) love, attention, food/water, and walks! I love being outdoors and use any excuse to get outside (even in the cold) so your dog(s) will get plenty of exercise.

Fiona is a very dedicated and empathetic person, connects very well with animals. She has watched my dog several times and has always been punctual, helpful, and very caring towards him. She is also very good with cats, has a very calming presence that is essential for good pet care. Never had any issues and have been very pleased with her work and connection with the pets.
I had to leave town last minute a few weeks ago and needed someone to look after my cat, Jonsey, while I was away. Fiona was very sweet, super quick to respond and was able to accommodate any and all instructions I had for both accessing my apartment and taking care of Jonsey. She even sent pictures and videos every time she visited to update me on how everything was going! Genuinely one of the best and most memorable experiences I've had with Rover.
Fiona and I used to work at a restaurant together, and once when I had to leave town for a week I asked her to look after my dog, Hank. I asked her because she always talked about how much she loves dogs, but couldn't have one due to her schedule at the time, which told me she knew that dogs are an important responsibility and have to be properly taken care of. When they met for the first time before I left, I knew that he was in good hands. Hank is a big boy with lots of energy, and Fiona handled him like a pro. When I was away, her response times left no room for worry or doubt about how my boy was doing, and I got multiple pics and updates every day. They both looked like they were having a great time, too. She even showed me new places I could go to walk with Hank, as I was new to Charlotte at the time. 100% would ask her to watch him again.

I'd like to know if they have a history of abuse, and any known triggers so I can provide a safe and relaxing environment for them. I have worked with many rescue animals from bad situations, so I am sensitive to these things. Ex. if Led Zeppelin's music sends your dog into a panic because their former, abusive owners loved Led Zeppelin, I'll make sure to never play it (even though Led Zeppelin's awesome). I'd also like to know: -their feeding schedule -how they get along with other dogs -how they get along with humans -any relevant quirks or habits -is it okay to give them little scraps of human food? (Excluding, of course, human foods that are toxic for dogs such as chocolate, grapes, -any info you feel is important/relevant for me in order to provide your dog the best care
A typical day
I am an active and outdoorsy person, so I naturally will enjoy taking long walks in parks and greenways. Playing fetch in my large backyard is always fun for me and pups. Some of my friends have dogs who like swimming, so I'll take them to the lake. As far as cats, I have tons of fun cat toys. And every cat is different and have their particular toys they like, so I experiment with those until I find one that clicks with them. I also love kitty snuggles. I sleep with my cat every night and she likes to lay in my lap every chance she gets while I'm home.
