I’ve taken care many different dogs since I was 12. Friends and family have asked me to walk, feed, bathe and administer medications to their pets. I have one friend in particular who is very strict with what needs to happen when caring for her dog. She only trusts 4 people on this planet to watch her dog and I happen to be one of them. I believe exercising is crucial for dogs of any size and I enjoy taking long walks with dogs. Not only is it a good physical stimulation for the dog, but it also helps them stay healthy. Most owners tend to just let their dogs run outside in the backyard as their form of exercise, but I make it my mission to walk with the dog. By walking a dog, it provides them with companionship and it ensures that they get enough exercise so they do not form destructive behaviors within a home. Dog sitting isn’t a job to me, but instead a passion. I currently own a dog right now and I walk him 3 times a day every day. Dog sitting an additional dog would not be any extra work for me since I am already doing it now. However, I do take special requests from pet parents regarding the care of their animal. My apartment is very clean and tidy where it is setup in a way where it is dog 100% dog friendly. I have a teacup Yorkie right now. He is shy at first but friendly and will eventually warm up to other dogs. If I am in a client's house we will go over what access I have within their house and what their rules are. I am open to sleeping and cuddling with the dog so long as they are comfortable with it. Prior to going to a client's house I would like a brief orientation period so I can become acquainted with things in the home and the neighborhood. I can also cater to the needs of the pet based on what the pet parent wants.
