Animals have always played a huge part in my life and over the years I have owned and cared for horses, rabbits, birds and of course, dogs. Whilst I love all breeds of dog and have experience of handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments, I have a particular fondness for sighthounds. I have owned several rescue dogs over the years and whilst I currently do not own a dog, I regularly look after a 13 year old, retired racing greyhound. Up until recently, I have been working as a registered nurse, however I have decided to spend the latter part of my career doing something that has been a life long passion, caring for animals. I have often looked after friends' dogs and cats when they are away from home and I understand that your pet is a much loved member of the family. So, if you need some assistance when you are unavailable, I will treat your furry friend as though they were my own!
