Pet care experience
Hi everyone! My name is Fiona M. and I’m a second year graduate student in the physician assistant program at Towson University. I’ve taken care of pets since I was 13 years old, so about 11 years now, both inside my own home and the dog-owners home before. My family owns two Irish wolfhounds, so I am very comfortable with big dogs! I have also previously owned a cat and a parrot. My schedule is relatively flexible and I am willing to make plans work! Something that sets me a part from other sitters is that I am willing to make animals feel comfortable and loved. I’m also very familiar and comfortable with giving dogs medications, injections, and managing seizures. I’ll take the extra step to provide excellent care for the animal.
Reviews
Fiona is fantastic! She has been consistent, dependable and reliable. She provided great communication truly loves our pup and is so sweet with him. He always seems content when we get home and I know that he has been well taken care of and loved. Thanks Fiona and we will be using you again!
Honestly it was not a good experience. There was a day where she forgot about my dog and didn’t let her out for 11 hours and several times she let my dog out off-leash when I had asked for her to be kept on leash. Wouldn’t recommend. She did take good care of my house.
Fiona is excellent. My dogs loved having her. She definitely deserves 5 stars.
This was our second time working with Fiona-- last time she did drop-ins, this time she stayed over with out pack of three dogs while we traveled. Fiona is amazing-- completely reliable, a great communicator with lots of pictures, and really kind. Fiona, thank you! :)

Safety, trust & environment
I value the safety of the pet and owner’s home above all else. I ensure to be the only person in the home to show how much I value the owner’s trust. I do not take this job lightly and will send daily pictures and videos of the pets to make sure the owner is comfortable and always in the loop.
Information Fiona M. would like to know about your pet
My clinical rotations switch every 6 weeks but I will keep the owner updated with the schedule as soon as it’s released to me! Communication is very important to me and I will always keep the owners updated.
A typical day
I love starting my morning with taking the dog on a long walk. This gets both of our days started on the right foot! For cats, I love playing with them in the morning to get their energy going. I love hiking and if the dog is up for it I would definitely take them on fun nature walks!
