Fiona is so great with Toro!

Fiona looked after our cats within our home for 2 weeks. She met with us beforehand to meet our little guys and you could tell right away that she was an animal lover. She was polite, kind and came across as very knowledgeable about animal health and welfare. Fiona was very accomodating to our schedule and our last minute request to change the dates. During our trip, Fiona sent us a couple of text and photo updates and we do believe that our fur-babies were very well taken care of. She played with them and went above and beyond with keeping them entertained. When we got home they both appeared to be in great health and that they enjoyed their time with Fiona. In regard to our animals being well taken care of, we were pleased with Fiona’s level of service! However, there were a few issues that we are displeased about. When we got home 2 of the 3 food bowls were empty and the one giant water dish was bone dry. These food bowls and water bowls if filled to the top can last for over 2 days... this tells us they had not been filled when she left. We also specifically asked for our mudroom door to be closed as our one cat pees on the rug, but when we came home we noticed an overwhelming pee smell. When we lifted that mat there was a giant stain and pee had soaked into the hardwood floor. This has been extremely difficult to try to get the pee smell out of the flooring. The house was also not at the same level of cleanliness that we had left it at (we had to put away her dishes, there were water rings on our new desktop, garbages were full, stuck-on food on the stovetop, etc). If you are looking for someone to do a great job looking after your animals, is friendly and kind then we recommend Fiona. However, due to the state of the house, we will not be booking with Fiona in the future.
