MD by education, animal lover by nature! I work during the day but come home for lunch. I enjoy staying active- going on walks, bike rides, dog parks. I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, and a little bit of Polish as well. I have worked with animals for several years, including research and zoo care in Florida. I've had a wide variety of pets in the past (dogs, fish, squirrels, etc.) Growing up in Brazil, my uncle had a ranch that my sisters and I would visit monthly. In the US I had a variety of pets, including a Shetland Sheepdog for 9 years and later a German Shepherd which my family still has in Florida. I've always been interested in animal behavior; thus during undergrad I did some research and volunteering at a local zoo. Your loved one will be staying in a pet-proof, air conditioned apartment. I also have a pet sofa with a clean blanket over top for their comfort.
