Growing up, I always wanted a dog. Many of my friends had dogs, and I loved to play with and pet them, but my parents only allowed me to get smaller pets, like fish. However, after years of begging and convincing, my parents rescued a border collie/cocker spaniel mix named Reggie. Soon after, I left for college. While I was in school, I really missed spending time with and caring for my pup! Recently, my fiancé and I adopted a lab mix puppy named Bella. However, he lives in a different city, and Bella stays with him. This means that once again, I lack puppy time! From caring for my two dogs specifically, I've gained a variety of experiences. Because Reggie was a rescue, he had some baggage when he came to us. He was very skittish and afraid of many household objects, so I am comfortable working with shy dogs! Bella was only 12 weeks when we got her, so I have experience with house-breaking, crate-training, socializing, and teaching basic commands to puppies. I'm experienced working with high energy dogs, as well as larger breeds. I believe that it's very important for each dog to be cared for in the way their owner wishes. I am very thorough when it comes to following instructions, and will make sure your dog gets the best (and most fun) care possible!
