Being a cat mom of 2, my 8 years of cat-care experience has made me dedicated, patient, and detail-oriented. Being well-versed in cats' body language and habits, it's most important to me to attune my care for each cat appropriately according to their unique personalities and needs: I give space and time to cats who are slow to warm up and territorial; reserve extra playtime for energetic/anxious cats; and be extra gentle and quiet with timid cats. After each visit, I send detailed notes as I closely track your cats' well-being and behaviors. I have experience with surgery aftercare, toothbrushing, giving liquid/solid medications, giving topical treatments, nail trimming, taking cats on flights, dealing with play aggression, separation anxiety, etc. I care deeply about the welfare of all cats and treat all my cat clients as my own. After adopting Snuffles in 2017 and rescuing Peanut Butter in 2019, I have also worked with a local individual rescuer for 2 years, during which I helped foster and socialize a senior stray cat, Kutu, for 1 year, while I helped manage adoption processes at the shelter for another year. Apart from my catsitting business, I've been making monthly donations to a cat shelter in Hangzhou, China since 2022. With the income I gain from this business, I am able to make larger donations as my way to give back to the rescue community. I only take appointments within New Jersey. 1. I keep quiet and move slowly when I see the cat. Most cats don’t like strangers, so it’s important to make them feel safe before I proceed with anything else. I would encourage interaction but never force it and allow cats space to ease into trusting me. 3. I would follow the owner’s instructions to feed the cat and clean the litter box. If I’m going to give oral/topical medications, I would need a towel/blanket, ideally with the owner’s smell, or a blanket that the cat is familiar with to cover them to calm them down. If the owner doesn’t have a pill feeder or syringe, I would bring my own, which I will sanitize with alcohol and soap before and after the feeding. 5. During the visit, I would not open any doors or windows to ensure the cat’s safety. If requested, I would do it with caution while keeping an eye on the cat. 5. I do not linger for longer than I need to at the owner’s home. I will stay for the whole 30 minutes. 6. I would not touch anything from the owner’s home that’s not needed for caring for the animal. If requested, I can take out the trash. I would avoid using the restroom, and would always ask permission if I have to. 7. I write detailed notes after each visit as to how it went and how the cat behaved. I would also send photos and videos. If requested, I can record the visit.

I can only care for vaccinated and dewormed cats for me and my cats’ safety and health. I prefer to have clear and written instructions ahead of time! (e.g. what food to give, how much food, where to find food/litter/cleaning supplies, how to enter the home, etc.) I prefer to know about the cat’s personalities and preferences ahead of my visits, so I can create safer, more comfortable interactions for the cat and myself. I would need to know if the cat has any special needs.
A typical day
I would feed the cat as requested, and clean the litter boxes. I would take the waste out. I would keep an eye out for how the cat is behaving. If requested, I would use any available toys at the owner’s home to play with the cat. I would pay attention and avoid any swallowable/chewable toys that the cat’s not supposed to swallow/chew on. If requested, I would give treats to the cat. If the owner doesn’t have any available cat toys but wants me to play with the client, please let me know ahead of time so I can bring toys to the visit. If the cat feels comfortable, I would pet the cat. After every visit, I would describe in my notes what I did and how the cat was with photos and videos.
