Pet care experience
We are a young couple that loves to travel and to meet new people ( especially when they’re animals included). We lived in Germany for three years until we decided to come back to Calgary in October 2022. Rachel grew up with dogs such as Labrador Retrievers and Australian Shepherds. Caring for dogs with special needs is Rachels special talent since she grew up with a blind Labrador. We also have clients now that entrusted their fish and plants to us while being on vacation as well as just taking care of peoples houses to drop by to check that everything is in place and order. With every stay we get to know new things of what pet/home owners want us to care for them. Feel free to ask us about your specific situation as we may be able to help you out! Our goal is to provide your dog with exceptional care while you’re on vacation.

Rachel and Felix were more than amazing house sitters and dog sitters. I left my furbaby for the first time with people she didn’t know and within the day, she had already warmed up to them both. I received photos and videos during my trip away and could tell that my dog was in great hands the entire time, making my trip away so much more enjoyable. I will definitely be reaching out again in the future if I am in need of a pet sitter and would recommend your services to anyone! Thanks again so much for taking such good care of Bella and our home, she misses you both already. 💕

Felix and Rachel came to house sit/dog sit for us in Calgary and they did an awesome job! They were very quick to respond back and set up a meet and greet. Our dogs immediately liked them and felt comfortable. The weekend went smoothly and they communicated very frequently with lots of photos/videos and updates. I have since referred them to my sister as well! Highly recommend.

For us the base for a successful dog sit is the meet and greet upfront. We want to get to know you and your pet/home. Unfortunately in the past we have had people that would book the bare minimum of care for their dog. We are not supporting any type of irresponsible pet care.

Let us know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that we can account for. Rachel has experience in working with blind dogs for example. During the meet and greet we get to ask all the questions we consider to be important for us as well as answering your questions!
A typical day
We love to stimulate dogs physically and mentally. We'll play a bunch of games, check out all the new smells in your neighborhood and explore the park nearby. Felix goes for runs when it’s nice outside. We had clients in the past that really enjoying running with him!

Availability
We can organize our time to be flexible. So far there is not enough time (not the right environment) to have a dog ourselves. That's the reason we love Rover. After consultation with you, we love to discover different places with your dog. Agreements and special needs of the dogs are the guidelines for us and will be discussed individually.
