Pet care experience
I have grown up taking care of all types of animals. Piranhas, birds, cats, frogs, and of course dogs! Although I’m far from home I have been taking care of my childhood dog Layla who has Cushing’s disease; she has given me the experience of working with furry friends in need extra care. As a part time nurses assistant I work two shifts a week. On my off days I’m home doing school work online. I have an abundance of time to help out others. Safety is my number one concern. Unfortunately my backyard does not have a fence I must be transparent; so I walk my friends around leashed for their protection. But freedom is also important to me which is why I look to Pittsford Dog Park for free play and exercise!

Felicity would be such a loving and caring pet caregiver. She has taken care of our fur babies while we went on vacation and was very reliable and responsible. One of our babies has cushings and has special needs. Felicity was very gentle, understanding and accommodating when it came to caring for her. We are grateful to have had her as their caregiver.

She is competent and trustworthy. Having grown up with her own beloved dogs, she understands the patience and responsibilities of being a pet owner. She is calming and patient with my little Morkie, who can be a challenge with his anxiety and excessive barking. She is good at showing affection and discipline at the same time. We are grateful for her, and highly recommend.
I have known Felicity for many years and feel that she would make a great pet caregiver. She has a caring side to her and when she was younger she lived in a household where there were two dogs so she is familiar with the routine of feeding them and taking them outside.

I like to mimic our furry friends routine to the best of my abilities. I have 2 roommates who are experienced with animals and love furry visitors. I have direct and easy access to the backyard, although my yard is not fenced depending on our friends training to directions I may have to attach a leash for their safety. But for free time we’re always a quick hop and a skip to Pittsford Dog Park.

I am open to all four legged friends regardless of their abilities, so if you have any super dogs please educate me on your care so I can ensure they are getting the love as if you were home.
A typical day
All furry friends are different. Some want to exercise their 4 legs and some will want to lay out and catch some sun or watch TV. All dogs are welcome and they’ll all get to enjoy long walks along the Erie Canal.

Availability
Working part time at the hospital gives me ample free time at home. In that free time I wish to help those care for their furry loved ones who are stuck at work while they wait for your return. But it brings peace of mind that their fur baby was able to get some fresh air, food, and scratches.
