My passion for high quality animal care is a lifelong mission of mine- I am currently working part time as a veterinary assistant, and in school to become a veterinary technician. I have years of experience with pet sitting and animal handling under my belt. I have experience with a wide variety of animal species, temperaments, and medical or behavioral cases. I am throughly trained in administering various routes of medication for more complex medical cases. Felicia was a phenomenal sitter for me! She’s been watching my two dogs (a German Shepard and Pitbull mix) for years. She is very easy to work with and the dogs absolutely love her. Due to my own pets (reactive dog and a cat), I am currently unable to board pets at my home. I do offer stays in your home, which often helps pets feel less stressed when it comes to being around a new person. I have experience with crate training dogs, and depending on client preference, I am happy to assist with this as needed.

A typical day
I love to go for long walks and trips to the multiple dog parks near me, hiking, and going to the river. I really enjoy providing a variety of enrichment activities for dogs such as playing with toys, training, hiking. I have experience with harness training cats, I love taking my own adventure cat outdoors, but am also well-versed in indoor enrichment for cats.

Availability
I am in school currently, so I have lots of time to spend studying and cuddling with your pets! I typically have open availability on weekends for longer stays, but can do drop-ins, and walking during the week around my school schedule.
