Vacay stay for Small Dogs

Pet care experience

This is a pet friendly and loving home that Loves the company of a furry friend house guest! I am a full time dog sitter, craftsperson, stay-at-home mom and I absolutely love what I do!! We are around the clock care in a wonderful pet friendly community. Our care includes unlimited playtime, exercise, and activities, both am and pm. We have a huge GREEN back yard for your dog to run and play and of course to do all their business. If your pet loves kids and needs someone to take them on long walks, give them lots of belly rubs, or continuous playtime while your away... we are the perfect match for your furry friend. We are close to many parks and have access to many surrounding neighborhoods for beautiful nature walks. Our days start like this..we wake up around 7am. All dogs are leashed and ready for the first walk of the day! Then it's time for breakfast. We chill for a little while after breakfast before going out for playtime & potty break in my backyard. I usually throw balls or rope toys during our backyard breaks. Nap time is next or time to watch Hulu & Netflix..we all have to agree on a show :) Walk number 2 comes around 1 or 2:00pm. My place is nice and cool and all dogs are allowed to nap on the couch or the floor or their own dog bed. We take multiple potty breaks in-between our walks. Dinner time is between 5 & 6:00pm and walk number 3 is shortly after. Our final potty break is between 8 & 9pm. Then it's off to bed...and they are allowed to sleep on the bed or the foot of my bed. I love organization and the dogs thrive on the structure I set up for them. I will send photos and videos daily to let you see how much fun they are having! WE PERFER SMALL DOGS 20lbs & UNDER, MUST LIKE CHILDREN & OTHER DOGS. All large breeds will be seriously considered. We usually only accept one large breed at a time and they must mix well with toy, small and old dogs. Grouping is very important for a happy and safe environment. I provide Fresh Spring Water & treats on a daily. Certified in Pet First Aid & CPR. If all this sounds good to you, let's set up a meet and greet! I look forward to meeting you and your dog soon:) **All pets must have proof of current vaccinations and rabies shot. I don't accept pets that have had diarrhea in past 72-hrs or kennel cough; must have written clearance from Veterinary.** Why I love dog sitting The dog is my Spirit Animal, they bring me comfort and joy! As a child I would bring home stray dogs. I have always felt an inner connection with dogs, when I pet-sit I am very sensitive & compassionate. I know your friend will miss you & may be a little afraid, but in a short time your dog will warm up to me & open up to a wonderful exchange of Love, kindness & fun :) Meet my pets "Honey" is a 3-yr old mixed Dashund and Chihahua. Honey loves to play, is very friendly and energetic, enjoys long walks and making new friends. Honey spends most of her day playing, exploring and is full of fun! When walking she often likes to greet other dogs and make friends. About my yard I have front and back yard, my front yard is fully landscaped with grass, flowers and trees. We will be spending our time in the back yard that is fenced in and secure. My Backyard has grass, trees, hedges, flowers, birds & squirrels, some wooded areas perfect for exploring plus very spacious. Your dog will have fun discovering new smells and chasing squirrels! When in my back yard I will play throwing rope toys and balls. I will also I tend to my garden while your dog runs around. My experience administering medication I usually mask medications in a hot dog, it is easier to administer that way. Have experience injecting cats and dogs with insulin. During our meet and greet we can discuss the special care your dog needs.

Febe is amazing-even better than I had hoped. She was just what I was looking for. She is super sweet, inviting, and professional. You can tell right away her family loves animals. I got daily updates and photos of Herbie and the crew going on walks, playing at home with the kids, and cuddling on the couch. She even allowed our dog on the bed, which was a huge relief because I didn’t know how Herbie would do otherwise. He is a very anxious pup especially when we go away, he often looses his appetite, however Febe noticed this right away and cooked him personal meals he couldn’t resist. I mean, it doesn’t get better than that. This experience really helped our Herbie become more socialized. I swear he’s been more calm and better behaved than before. I can tell he had a great experience with Febe and we are already planning to book him another stay soon. Thanks again Febe and to your adorable sons that helped welcome and give extra care to Herbie!! I think he misses you all.

Febe and her family took great care of Sammie. It's obvious he had a great time and was very loved while we were away. Thank you so much!

Febe was great! We had a meet and greet with Febe and her dog, Honey the day before our trip. Patron and Honey seemed to get along well and Febe was very nice. We received an update and picture from Febe each day. Patron had a great time staying with Febe and her family. We would definitely use her again!! The only "minus" I would give is that her pick up and drop off is limited to 9-11am. There is an additional charge if you can't pick up before 11am which is difficult if you're traveling back from out of town.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks I will take your dog on a community walk for 20 min's depending on your dogs activity level. We will walk in a residential area with minimal traffic. Once I get more acquainted with your dog and a level of trust has been established we can go to nearby trails and park. For senior dogs we will stay on my street for multiple brief walks and spend time sunbathing in the back yard. I alway give fresh Spring Water after outdoor time. Your dog's sleeping arrangement I'd love for your pet to sleep with me! Where every your dog sets up camp is fine with me. Some like to sleep on the coach, some on the foot of my bed and others on my bed. I do not crate, but if your pet routine is in the crate we can do that too :) I do ask you bring bedding and bowls favorite blankets to help them feel at home. There will be space for your dog to wonder if he gets up in the middle of the night as long as everyone is safe. Time I'll spend with your dog When your dog sleeps over he or she will get lots of undivided attention. We will go on long walks and play in the backyard. I am a very active person so your pet will enjoy our play time with balls, freebees, sticks. During indoor times we can relax on the couch and take a nap, talk or cuddle-up watch TV. When I drop-in at your home I will make sure your dog has Fresh Clean Water, food or treats, brush hair and lots of tummy rubs. Time I'll spend with your dog Dog-walking service we will go for a 20 minute community walk depending on the weather. (In winter months anything below 45 degrees will be 10-15 min and in the summer time weather exceeding 85 degrees will be 10-15 min walk) Afterwards we will cool down and have Fresh Cold Spring Water, treats or meal depending on your dogs daily routine. Total time I will spend with your pet is 30 min's per visit. For senior dogs or during inclement weather we will spend more time indoors playing and cuddling. During summer months we will go for our walks early in the morning and late evening when the temp's are a bit cooler and take multiple back yard breaks in between.
