Pet/house sitter - I am comfortable in most environments and strive to make all animals feel like I belong with them. I grew up with dogs and cats. As an adult I have always been responsible for one solo cat or dog OR a combination of dogs, cats, tropical frogs, hamsters and fish. My pets are treated with respect and firm tenderness. I volunteer with a ferral cat neuter and spay organization. I have learned so much about cat behavior from the professionals with whom I volunteer. Currently I have two outside ferral cats, kindly referred to as "the outsiders", who eat in my backyard each evening. I have a wonderful dog, named Rudy. He is a terrier-Chihuahua mix. He likes dogs, cats, children, and adults. He loves to explore, so we go to dog parks as often as possible. On sunny days, you will find Rudy stretched out in my backyard. Even though working for Rover will be my first intro to paid pet/house sitting, I am not new to taking care of others beloved pets. I have kept friends or families dogs or cats in the past.
