I've always had an array of pets for as long as I can remember; I love birds and animals! I have experience caring for dogs (puppy-seniors), cats (kitten-senior), special needs pets (e.g. diabetic, administering pills, shots), domestic birds (e.g. chicken, duck, quail), parrots, horses, small furry animals (e.g. hamsters, rats, guinea pigs), saltwater and freshwater fish tanks and amphibians. During the school year, I work full-time, Monday through Thursday each day. I'm free every day during the summer months, as well as school holidays during the school year. I only take clients within a 20 mile radius from my home in Riverside so I can spend more time with your pets rather than driving! During a 30 minute home visit, I will play with your pet if they are willing, groom, feed, and clean any pet messes. Walks will be around the immediate area, unless you have a preference for elsewhere. During house sitting, I may occasionally need to run an errand, stop into my home briefly or do a drop-in visit with another client, but much of the time will be spent at your home with your pets. For an overnight stay, $55 covers up to 2 dogs from the same household. There's an additional dog rate of $10/day starting at the 3rd dog. I generally don't charge extra for multiple cats or other pets for an overnight stay or drop-in visit, unless they require a lot of extra care, such as injections, difficult to pill, etc. An overnight stay includes a midday potty/play break and potty/play time in the morning and evening before bedtime. If you or your pets do not need/want a human presence there overnight, I *may* sleep at my own home. I usually opt to stay at the home if it's outside of Riverside.
