Pet care experience
With a lifelong love for feline companions and all animals, my journey as a pet enthusiast has been nothing short of purr-fect. Growing up, I was surrounded by multiple cats (my family had 4 at one point), each with their unique personalities and quirks including my own personal cat I got in Grade 5, which nurtured my deep understanding of their needs and behaviors. Over the years, I've worn the hat of a rescuer, saving over ten cats from various challenging situations on remote reserves and providing them with safe and loving homes. Furthermore, my passion led me to become a foster parent, where I temporarily cared for cats in transition, helping them heal and find forever homes. Today, I proudly share my life with my adopted (foster fail) kitty, Peanut, as I continue to cherish and advocate for the well-being of these wonderful creatures! :)

Faryn did daily check-ins on my 16-year old cat Scarlett while I was in the US for a few days and I can't say enough about how appreciative I was of her making sure Scarlett was ok while I was away. Faryn took care of refilling her automatic wet feeder daily and gave her some company (even if she's a bit of a loner cat!) Getting the photo updates put me at ease and allowed me to relax and enjoy my vacation without constant worry. Faryn was so communicative, quick to respond, and is very clearly a cat person, which helped a ton. I can't recommend her enough and plan to rebook her in the future! :)
Faryn took fantastic care of my 9-year-old cat! The photo updates were perfect, and I didn't have to worry at all while I was away. I'm already re-booking her!
Faryn is very reliable and an obvious animal lover. We had her look after our 2 cats for 3 weeks and everything was perfect. She came twice a day, when she said she would, which is very important to us because 1 of our cats is diabetic and needs an insulin injection twice a day. So if you are looking for someone who can administer injections, she has lots of practice with our cat! Faryn was very responsible and there were no problems at all for the whole 3 weeks. My cats love her! We will definitely be using her again on our next vacation. We would definitely recommend her for your furry friends!
Faryn is an absolutely wonderful pet owner. She gives her cats special attention and the care the deserve, and more. One of her cats had a medical issue and she was attentive to his unique needs and helped him get through his condition; he is now much happier and healthier. Faryn has fostered and owned many cats and I would absolutely trust her with my own.

If there’s anything special that I can do to make sure your kitty is at ease and getting the best care possible, please don’t hesitate to let me know! :) Typically, I care for my kitties by ensuring they are well-fed and watered (including some treats to remind them how special they are), maintaining a clean and well-kept litter box, and playing with their favourite toys! I also have experience with both oral and injectable medications for cats. I always want to make sure both owners and cats feel secure and know they can trust me as it’s can be scary letting someone take care of your baby and into your home, so please feel free to chat with me about any concerns or additional requests! I cannot wait to meet your pets and provide them with some extra love while their pet parents are away! :)

I’m currently a full-time student pursuing my Bachelor of Social Work degree at Waterloo University. I’m pretty flexible so let me know what you need! I am free most evenings and nearly every weekend to hang out with, take care of and spend some quality time with your furry friends! :)
