LICENSED FULL-TIME DOG NANNY!

Pet care experience

*HOLIDAY UPDATE: DUE TO AN UNKNOWN ILLNESS CIRCULATING IN THE REGION AND ITS POTENTIAL DANGER TO DOGS, BOARDING/DAY CARE SERVICES HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED. FOR FUTURE BOOKINGS AND FOR SAFETY OF OUR RESIDENT DOG, I AM UNABLE TO ACCEPT PUPS THAT HAVE BEEN TO OTHER BOARDING/DAY CARE/COMMERCIAL KENNELS/DOG PARKS OR GATHERINGS WITH OTHER DOGS WITHIN 6 WEEKS PRIOR TO THEIR BOOKING WITH ME. YOUR CO-OPERATION AND UNDERSTANDING IS APPRECIATED* A HEALTHY STAY IS A CLICK AWAY! ATTENTION SEATTLE TECH PUPS - Dooglers, Amazon Doggos and Seattle tech pups: Your tech dog nanny is here! I’m a professional licensed full-time dog nanny committed to providing caring attention to your beloved fluffball! Our resident dog has been a tech doggo as Doogler and Amazon Doggo for ~ 8 years. I started caring for dogs 17 years ago until I adopted my own rescue when he was a puppy. Since then, I have fallen in love with dogs and continue learning about their care through a holistic lens. My education background is in health care and holistic nutrition. I’ve taken Pet First Aid and CPR. I was also a foster volunteer with Seattle Humane. My time with your dog is to ensure their safety and wellbeing. While you are on vacation, your dog will enjoy their very own pupcation! A typical day is morning potty break, breakfast, walk/play time, puppy nap time, snack/lunch (if indicated by owner), afternoon potty break, play time if pup is up for it, more napping, dinner. The rest of the evening is spent cuddled up! Day to day can vary depending on the pup’s activity and how the day is going. Please read through details below before sending your request: Quiet Hours: 8PM-8AM. Requests received during these hours will be responded to after 8AM. ADDITIONAL RATE INFORMATION: Boarding Pick Up Time: 7AM- 8AM on Service End Date. Extended Boarding Pick Up on Service End Date: $30 fee applied if picking up 8AM-12PM $60 fee applied if picking up by 5pm on boarding service End Date. Additional $20 per hour billed for pick-ups after this time until 8pm. *After 8PM, another overnight boarding rate will be applied and your pup will need to be picked up by 8AM the following morning. (*unless prior arrangements have been made). HOLIDAY RATES: Holiday rates apply on specified dates/busy travel seasons. HOLIDAY RATES ARE HIGHER THAN POSTED HOLIDAY RATES ON DEC 31/JAN 01/JAN 02, Memorial Day Weekend, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day Weekend, Christmas Week (DEC 24, DEC 25, DEC 26). YOUR RATE WILL BE ADJUSTED FROM YOUR ORIGINAL REQUEST TO REFLECT THE PROPER SERVICE RATE. DAY CARE BASE RATE ON THE ABOVE DATES START AT $100 Day Care (Day Boarding): Day Care is synonymous with boarding and the same criteria applies to board your dog during day time hours. There will be periods when your dog will need to be crated when not directly supervised. Dogs must be crate trained, spayed/neutered, fully house broken, non-destructive, non-aggressive towards humans or other dogs etc. Day Care Hours: Includes up to 8 hours of care. Rate will increase for day care time longer than 8 hours and determined for the length of stay required. Additional $20/per hour will be applied. Please indicate drop off and pick up times to determine the day care rate that will be charged. Pick up time is not “extended” if dog is dropped off later than agreed upon time, and additional rate of $20/hour will apply for late pick ups. DROP-OFF/PICK-UP LOCATION: As dog boarding/day care services are provided on a shared lot, Drop-Offs/Pick-Ups will occur at the bottom of the driveway where you may park your vehicle. EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR DOG WALKS/BOARDING: *A step-in harness is required for dog walks/boarding. Dogs can be a flight risk when away from their owners and can slip out of collars. *Food: Please pack dry food into individual bags with the proper amount of food per day. This will ensure your dog has enough food for the duration of their boarding and will not run out. Please pack refrigerated food in leakproof containers with proper amount of food needed for each day. Label food as needed with feeding instructions. *If your dog is taking medications and/or supplements, please correctly label products with dosage instructions. **NOTE REGARDING CRATE TRAINED DOGS: It is a requirement for boarding and stays including day care that your dog be crate trained to ensure its safety. A crate will be used during times your pup needs to be kept secure and cannot be directly supervised (i.e. we need to get ready for the day, step out of our home, rest/bed time during overnight stays/daycare, any situation that where there is a potential hazard, you have a puppy who needs consistent crate training etc.) You can leave your crate with us OR your dog can use the crate we currently have in our home (max height 32” max length 40”). Our crate is NOT designed to secure to destructive dogs or dogs that suffer from separation anxiety. **While I adore all dogs, I do not accept dogs for boarding/day care that: are not crate trained, are destructive, are not fully house broken, mark inside the house, are not spayed/neutered, bark excessively, display dominance/aggression over other dogs or humans, or have separation anxiety. My home will not be a good fit if your pup doesn’t meet this criteria. If this information is not disclosed by the client/owners in advance, and/or issues arise during the service, owners will need to make alternate arrangements to transfer their dog’s care at owner's expense. It is important that your dog is free of fleas and up to date with their vaccinations. We will ask for a vaccination history and pet parents are expected to inform us of any recent illnesses their dog may have had, especially if it is contagious or zoonotic.

Fariah was wonderful and our pup loved spending the weekend with her and her pup! We were traveling into the Seattle area from out of state and needed someone to watch our dog for the weekend. My husband and I were feeling a bit anxious about leaving him with a sitter we had yet to meet. Fariah such a professional and did an incredible job keeping us up to date throughout the weekend with tons of pictures and a summary each day. She keeps the pups active and loves them like they were her own. We lucked out! I will book her again when we’re back in Washington!!

Information Fariah M. would like to know about your pet

Please provide the following information upon submission of your booking request: Is your dog crate trained? What behaviors/quirks do I need to be mindful of when caring for your dog? Most, if not all, dogs have some behavior quirk or issue and it’s always best to disclose this upfront. Doing so allows me to be mindful of what to look for and provide safe care. Does your dog have food allergies/dietary restrictions? How do they get along with other dogs? What is your dog's daily routine? Does your dog have a favorite game/activity that keeps them engaged? What is your dog's exercise requirements? *** I adore all dogs but unfortunately cannot host each and every one! My home will not be a good fit if your dog(s): are not crate trained, are not fully house broken, are destructive, mark inside the house, are not spayed/neutered, display dominance/aggression over other dogs or humans, or have separation anxiety. If this information is not disclosed by the client/owners in advance, and/or issues arise during the service, owners will need to make alternate arrangements to transfer their dog’s care at owner's expense.
