Vet-tech and animal enthusiast❤️

Pet care experience

As a veterinarian technician with over a decade of professional animal care, my top priority is animal safety and wellbeing. As a pet owner myself, I am passionate about providing fun, enriching, and quality care for your pet—the way I would want my animals cared for. I have experience caring for a wide variety of animal species in all types of situations and environments. I am experienced with exotics (such as parrots, reptiles, etc.) and farm animals (everything from equines to chickens). I volunteer at my local animal rescue most weeks and love any opportunity to hang out with animals. I have interned as a zookeeper for a summer and am currently working as a vet tech. I am diligent, detailed oriented, and have years of experience.

Faith is a wonderful caregiver and so thoughtful! We knew all of our pets were protected and happy under her care and she was also terrific about communicating and sending pictures. We couldn't have asked for a more responsible and empathetic pet sitter!!

Safety, trust & environment

I am diligent on monitoring your pet’s eating, drinking, and bathroom business. I know pets can feel nervous when they are away from their parents and try to make their stay fun, engaging, and comfortable.

Information Faith W. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if you pet has any special needs. I understand your pet has a unique personality and set of needs and am happy to do whatever I can to help them be comfortable but need your help to ensure I have the proper information. Do they have a favorite toy or snack? Are they nervous about anything? Are they aggressive towards other dogs? I am equipped and experienced in caring for pets with special needs, including elderly and disabled pets. I can administer oral medications and IM injections if needed and am trained to do so.

A typical day

I understand the importance of keeping your pet happy and healthy both mentally and physically, especially when they are away from their normal environment. I always take every dog out for at least a half hour walk and encourage your pet to go at their own pace. Whether they are in to slow walks with lots of sniffing or light jogs to burn energy, I’m happy to accommodate them. I also encourage play time and love having rewarding training sessions. I use positive reinforcement and enjoy teaching dogs new tricks like jumping through a hoop.
