My free time is pet care time!
Pet care experience
I aim certified in canine behavior and have additional experience with a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, turtles, multiple types of lizards, chickens, goats, crabs, hamsters, rats, smaller snakes, ferrets, Guinea pigs, and chinchillas. While I am most often booked for dogs and cats, I have had repeated and/or longer term experiences with fish, turtles, hamsters, crabs, and goats. I’m happy to watch animals I have not previously, and I will ask multiple questions of any new client to ensure I’m providing the best care for any and all pets I’m sitting. I do not have experience with injectable medications for animals, but I am happy to learn. I previously worked with a rescue in St. Louis, MO and spent my free time temp fostering shelter pups! I am certified through The Academy of Pet Careers in Pet Empowerment: Safe Handling Skills (includes safety and handling, canine communication, recognizing fear/stress/anxiety, defensive handling, & tools to break up dog fights). I’m familiar with giving pets medications and following special diets. I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I can handle dogs that want to play with anyone and everything as well as dogs who need lots of extra space on walks. **For anyone with anxiety surrounding pet sitters due to behavioral issues, please reach out. I frequently worked with reactive dogs and/or dogs with problem behaviors when I fostered and am very comfortable with dogs that may need extra experience and care. I have experience caring for: dogs (all ages), cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish, chickens, and more. I previously cared for others’ pets on and off growing up and throughout my schooling. I have experience with walks, check-ins, and overnights at the client’s home.
Reviews
Faith does a great job caring for Daisy. She’s very attentive and responsive. She was also able to adjust when our travel plans changed. We’re so thankful we had her watch our dog for us!
Best Rover dog sitter we’ve had yet!
My dogs were probably a handful, but Faith was great and loved them well anyway! I got daily pictures and updates of my boys and communication was a breeze! Thanks for taking care of them while I was gone!!
Faith was an excellent caretaker for my pup, and was on top of the check ins and communications.

Your pets will be treated like my own! I know how stressful it can be to leave our pets with someone new, so my biggest goals are to make sure you have peace of mind that your pet is being taken care of and also that your pet is as happy and stress-free as possible.
Information Faith S. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if your pet(s) has any medical conditions I should be aware of. For dogs and cats, I would like to know if they are housebroken, or if they have any issues with people, children, other animals, or anything else they could encounter on walks. I have absolutely no breed preferences, and I am more than happy to accommodate animals who need extra handling around people/pets/objects/etc.
A typical day
Is your dog incredibly energetic? Playtime, it is! Does your dog like to do things a little slower? I can match that speed too. I'm always down for some snuggle or chill time on the couch as well. Playing fetch or tug of war are also some faves of my past pups! Do you other pets like being loved on/handled? Got it covered! Maybe they prefer to keep to themselves instead - that’s fine too! Either way, I’ll be sure to match your pets’ energy to be sure they’re getting the care they want and need.

Availability
I am currently a PhD student, so my schedule is flexible. I can usually adjust my schedule as needed depending on you and your dog’s needs! I can always walk or checkin on dogs in the mornings and evenings during the week, but visits during the day will need to be discussed in advance to make sure I can offer the best care for your pets.
