My Fear Free© approach to pet sitting provides first-class, unrivaled care. I also ensure that your home is secure and family is safe. All visits include health check, photo updates, mail or package collection, and home security check. I offer support with subcutaneous (SQ) fluid, injections, pilling, eye & skin ointments, breathing treatments, and wound care. I love hiking and long walks and would love the opportunity to take your family member out with me. I use operant conditioning with positive reinforcement and love helping young puppies reach their canine good citizens© goals. A happy dog is a tired dog and I can provide high energy hikes or slow evening/morning strolls for the seniors. I have been providing vet tech and behavior modification in shelter settings for over 10 years. I work with all breeds and sizes. I can provide exceptional care for fearful kitties and feral felines if you have garden cats.

Faith is the very best dog person you could ask for - so very kind and patient and has that experienced and gentle way with dogs that they really respond to and gravitate towards. And, unlike some Rover sitters, she is equally great with communicating with people, being a very bright, caring and straightforward person, someone you can really trust. Hope our dog Brisa can see much more of Faith in future housesitting.
We recommend Faith as a Rover without hesitation. She is a strong communicator and super dependable. Before she agreed to house and dog sit our pup, she arranged a Meet and Greet to make sure she and our pup were a good fit. Her pouch of homemade(?) treats and warm, competent demeanor put our pup immediately at ease. During Faith's care tour of our pup, he was suffering from a paw wound caused by foxtail removal that required twice daily application of Animax. Faith is a vet tech, and she had no issue making sure that our pup received the topical treatment that he needed. She even distracted him by putting peanut butter on her forehead so that he was distracted licking it while she tended to his paw, so creative and compassionate!!! She took our pup on twice daily hour long walks and followed all of our care guidance to the "T." She sent us pictures throughout her care tour which helped us feel at ease. Faith will go above and beyond in her care for your pup. Since her care of our pup, she has even followed up with veterinary, care, and training tips/referrals for our OTHER dog who she didn't even care for but who she met during the Meet and Greet. Faith is a wealth of information and a great resource generally. We felt so lucky that our big baby boy got to be cared for by her, and we'd hire her again in a second.
We’ve hired Faith a couple times to housesit our two rambunctious pups. She did a great job. Kept the house clean, the doggies safe and engaged and she provided plenty of updates and pictures. She was responsive to requests as well. I’d totally recommend Faith for your dog care needs!

Please let me know what extra support your pet may need, special dietary concerns, behavioral goals, and preferences. It is important to me that I provide continuity and structure for your pet. Being away from you can be stressful, but by providing the same routines in a familiar environment my goal is to ensure a seamless transition to reduce this stress. Please make me aware of any fearful or avoidance behaviors such as other dogs or animals. If your pet gets overly aroused or agitated by specific situations or stimuli.
A typical day
In addition to hiking in the East Bay Regional Parks I also love at home play and activity times. Schedule an hour of splash time and I will bring a special pup pool over for the backyard! Is your dog or cat high energy? Schedule a visit of HITT, High Intensity Interval Training. I also provide cuddle times with rest and relaxation for the couch potatoes.

I am a full time at home student. I am available most days in Oakland, CA and occasionally in Fairfax or Point Reyes. I am very flexible, prompt, and communicative.
